Week Notes: Vol. 3 – № 17

To my unofficial mentors: Thank you!

I may never accept a lifetime achievement award. I may never give a commencement address.

I may never publish a book, and I certainly don’t plan to run for public office.

But that doesn’t mean I can’t thank and acknowledge the people who have helped me get to where I am today.

Nobody is truly “self-made.” We all get help one way or another. Hard work pays off, but our network is what propels us forward.

As William Wang, co-founder of VIZIO, once said on How I Built This: “Luck is given to you by people around you.”

So with that, thank you to everyone who has given me advice, encouragement, and most importantly friendship throughout my career thus far.
